How to Verify KYC in eSewa (Using Mobile App)

Verifying KYC details in eSewa is a simple task, everyone who have their personal identity documents, can easily do this. Still if you don’t know how, then you can follow these simple steps to verify your KYC through the eSewa app.

1. Open Your eSewa App

Open your esewa application and log in to your account using your mobile number and MPIN or Password.

2. Tap on Your Profile Icon

On the top of the left corner, you can see your profile icon. Click there and you will be redirect to your eSewa profile page where you can see My Information.

3. Click on ‘My Information’

Now Click on an option My Information and continue by clicking all green buttons as shown in image below.

4. Fill Out Your Personal Information

Now, you will be redirect to a form page where you have to fill out that form. Remember that, all your personal details should be exactly same as your provided identity document. The KYC form requires;

  • Full Name ( First name, middle name if you have & Surname )
  • Date of Birth
  • Address
  • Occupation
  • Document Number

Make sure all details match your document.

5. Upload Document

  • Upload the clear front and back photos of your citizenship. (If you are using citizenship)
  • Take a selfie (make sure your face is clearly visible).

6. Submit Your Application

Once you filled everything properly, then tap on ‘Submit‘. It usually takes upto 72 hours to verify your KYC. If you have no time to wait and want fast approval, you can contact eSewa customer support.

How Much Time Does it Take to Approve KYC in eSewa?

Usually, the verification takes 24 to 72 hours. If there are any issues with your documents (blurry photo, mismatched details), it may take longer or rejected. You’ll receive an update notification or SMS about your KYC.
